Job Purpose:
To manage and execute Aramco-related projects in accordance with Saudi Aramco’s project management standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements. The role involves full responsibility for planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of the project, ensuring compliance with Aramco’s specifications and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of projects awarded by Saudi Aramco, ensuring adherence to contract terms, timelines, and budgets.
- Liaise directly with Aramco project engineers, inspectors, and coordinators for approvals, inspections, and documentation.
- Review and interpret project specifications, engineering drawings, scope of work, and Aramco standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE) to ensure smooth project progress.
- Submit project documentation via SAP and follow up on approvals (e.g., ITPs, MS, WMS, IRs, RFI).
- Manage and lead site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is carried out as per approved plans.
- Ensure all project activities meet Aramco’s safety and environmental regulations.
- Attend progress meetings with Aramco and internal stakeholders; provide status updates and resolve issues.
- Control project schedule using tools like Primavera or MS Project; monitor critical path activities.
- Maintain proper documentation in compliance with Aramco’s reporting and quality control systems.
- Manage project risks, changes, and claims professionally.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil).
- PMP Certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in project management, with at least 3–5 years managing Aramco projects.
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), General Instructions (GIs), and typical Aramco procedures.
- Solid understanding of Aramco SAP systems (especially if supplier/contractor is SAP certified).
- Proficiency in project planning software: Primavera P6, MS Project.
- Strong command of English (spoken and written). Arabic is a plus.
