As a Production Scheduling employee, you will be responsible for:
- expediting production planning, scheduling, and control operations to achieve production goals and conformance with delivery date commitments.
- monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle.
- Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.
- Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders.
- Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
- Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
- Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.
- Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
- Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, and distributors.
- Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
- Preparing cost estimates and performance reports.
- Expert in SAP System.
- Executes production according to the appropriate instructions.
- Responsible to exchange data and information interaction concerns and also improvements in products, processes and procedures.
- Handles standardized manufacturing processes. Guidelines for choosing the right actions. Some latitude in ways of working and planning.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have sound knowledge of assigned product and other product lines
- Have a minimum of 4 years of work experience
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the SAP System.
- Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the petrochemical industry
- Have a Bachelor's degree or diploma.
- Display strong written and oral English & communication skills
- Have a sound understanding of plant safety
