Summary:

The role involves sending requests for quotations for various approved suppliers, preparing price comparisons, sourcing materials from local markets, coordinating with departments, and preparing weekly reports on LPO status, material delivery, and pending requestions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implementation of policies, procedures, and strategies for procurement activities and ensure they are in compliance with the Company's policies and procedures.
• Monitors and controls dedicated divisional requirements related to replenishment spares prior procurement process
• Review and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment, whilst providing feedback to the business on cost, deliveries etc.
• Seeks the most cost-effective purchase option from the supply chain without sacrificing the quality of parts.
• Coordinate with different departments such as engineering, facility management, IT ..etc, on their day-to-day requirements
• Provides 3 quote comparisons for addressable items.
• Resource materials and recommend potential providers to management
• Liaise with the freight forwarding department to expedite the materials.
• Monitors records of purchase orders in an organized manner on a continuous basis.
• Verify goods receipts and supplier’s invoices prior to forwarding to Accounts.
• Prepare weekly reports on LPO status, material delivery and pending requisitions
• Preparing reports as required by management.
• Performs other duties as required.
