Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to manage the Procurement activities related to packaging materials. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with Planning, R&D, Marketing, Warehouse, and Finance teams to align purchasing activities with organizational needs and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Operations:
- Source and purchase primary and secondary packaging materials according to company requirements.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Work closely with the Planning team to forecast packaging needs and align purchases with production schedules.
- Collaborate with R&D and Marketing for new product development and packaging innovations.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse team to ensure adequate stock levels and manage inventory turnover.
- Liaise with the Finance department for budgeting, cost control, and invoice reconciliation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost.
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers as needed.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Monitor market trends and suggest alternative materials or suppliers to ensure business continuity and cost savings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 - 4 years of procurement experience, preferably in packaging materials.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and supplier negotiation.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in FMCG, food & beverage, or manufacturing industry.
