Job Description
The Payroll & Benefits Accountant is responsible for accurately processing employee payroll and managing benefits administration in compliance with Saudi labor laws and company policies. This role ensures timely reporting, support audits, and works closely with HR and Finance to maintain payroll accuracy. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage sensitive employee data professionally
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll, including salaries, deductions, and bonuses
- Administer benefits such as health insurance, leave balances, and retirement plans
- Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws and internal payroll policies
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare related journal entries
- Maintain accurate employee records for compensation and benefits
- Respond to employee payroll and benefits queries professionally
Skills
- Proficient in payroll systems and ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, or ADP)
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting and reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and statutory compliance
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage strict deadlines and handle sensitive data
- Strong communication and coordination skills across departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources
- 3-5 years of experience in payroll and benefits accounting
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus
- Preference will be given to Saudi nationals
