We are looking for a results-driven Business Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team in achieving Roche Diagnostics’ business objectives. This role entails driving sales of Roche Diagnostics (NPC) products and services to new and existing accounts, while fostering market penetration and long-term customer partnerships. You will define and implement sales strategies, ensure on-time execution of business plans, and cultivate a customer-centric approach. In addition to driving team success, you will also play a shared role in developing team skills and capabilities to establish a strong foundation for future growth within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Define nationwide commercial strategies and implement actions to meet agreed business objectives and KPIs for multiple business segments.
Cascade sales strategies, tactics, and marketing programs/promotions to the sales team, ensuring effective regional and local execution.
Establish clear priorities for the sales team, ensuring business focus and proper allocation of resources to maximize outcomes.
2. Sales Leadership and Team Development
Lead and support the sales team in adopting strategic selling principles and a consultative sales approach with customers.
Identify and develop team skills, aptitudes, and potential, ensuring timely training, coaching, and mentoring.
Evaluate and manage the team’s performance, conducting regular feedback sessions and personalized performance reviews.
Create a motivating workplace culture that attracts, engages, and retains high-performing talent.
3. Market and Customer Engagement
Build and maintain strong working relationships with institutions, strategic customers, and other stakeholders through consistent market presence.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer movements to adapt strategies proactively and effectively.
Work with pricing strategies to ensure competitive and compliant deals are secured in alignment with positioning goals.
4. Sales Operations Excellence
Monitor sales activities and daily operations to ensure excellence in execution both internally and externally.
Accurately forecast sales and instrument placements, ensuring complete and timely CRM data updates for planning and reporting.
Support opportunity mapping, adequate activity planning, and tracking of sales performance to align with strategic KPIs.
5. Core Leadership Responsibilities
Lead by example by demonstrating Roche Core Values: Integrity, Courage, and Passion.
Ensure adherence to Roche compliance standards, Code of Conduct, and applicable laws and regulations in all business processes.
Develop and execute a personal improvement and development plan to ensure continuous learning and a positive contribution to the company and community.
Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in sales, marketing management, and preferably people management within a healthcare environment.
University or bachelor’s degree required; an MBA or related higher education is a plus.
Proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
Strong leadership skills, with experience in coaching, mentoring, and managing diverse teams.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
Financial acumen and project management expertise to support business growth.
