Develop, manage, and implement project, program, and portfolio management methodologies and frameworks within the PMO, ensuring compliance with the EXPRO standards, and enhancing organizational maturity in project management to achieve efficiency and effectiveness
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and update project management methodologies and frameworks aligned with EXPRO requirements.
- Design and manage project templates, models, and documentation within the PMO.
- Ensure consistency and standardization of practices and procedures across all projects and programs.
- Provide advisory support to teams and project managers in applying methodologies.
- Monitor compliance with methodologies and conduct regular reviews to ensure effectiveness.
- Contribute to capacity building through training sessions and workshops on methodologies.
- Develop project governance frameworks and align them with adopted methodologies.
- Assess and improve project management maturity by adopting best practices locally and globally.
- Prepare reports on project compliance with methodologies and submit recommendations to senior management.
- Stay updated on EXPRO methodology developments and integrate them into PMO policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Management, or related field (Master’s in Project Management or Public Administration is preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or methodology/framework development.
- Advanced knowledge of the EXPRO methodology.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, P3O, or equivalent.
- Experience in developing project management manuals and methodologies within a PMO environment
