Job Description:
Parsons is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Construction Director to join our team in delivering major projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with extensive experience in overseeing large-scale building and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct the overall planning of construction activities, identifying critical milestones and priorities to ensure project success.
Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, ensuring quality, timely technical resolutions, and effective management of services to achieve program goals and objectives.
Assign tasks to construction team members across various work areas, monitor progress, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Ensure that critical milestones are met for each project phase, maintaining alignment with project timelines.
Promote sound construction practices to achieve high-quality results while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
Prepare, implement, and maintain the Construction Management Plan, while contributing to supporting management plans such as Risk Management, Quality Management, Commissioning Management, and Stakeholder Management.
Act as the primary contact for client representatives, contractors, and government officials regarding construction-related activities, fostering strong client and community relationships.
Coordinate with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries to mobilize resources and create project teams capable of delivering quality work.
Collaborate with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans, ensuring project goals are met or exceeded.
Drive a strong safety culture within the program, ensuring adherence to safety standards and practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
Minimum of 20 years of experience in construction management, with a strong track record of leading and delivering major building projects successfully.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary, diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex challenges.
Comprehensive understanding of project lifecycles and the ability to manage projects from initiation to completion.
In-depth technical knowledge of engineering and design principles.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
