The HSEW Manager will engage with various stakeholders and manage safety performance while adhering to local regulations, standards, and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSEW policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Conduct HSEW audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver training and awareness programs for employees on HSEW principles and practices.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, ensuring thorough reporting and analysis to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with project management teams, providing expert advice on HSEW risk management strategies.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and community representatives regarding HSEW matters.
- Prepare and present HSEW reports, statistics, and performance metrics to senior management.
Requirements
- Saudi National with a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in HSEW management, preferably within the construction or civil engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of HSEW regulations, standards, and best practices applicable in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting HSEW audits and incident investigations.
- Proven ability to develop HSEW training programs and engage employees in safety culture initiatives.
- Certification in HSEW (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
