Job Description
- Lead the implementation and management of enterprise GIS solutions aligned with program delivery objectives.
- Define and enforce geospatial data standards, metadata structures, and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with planning, design, engineering, and digital teams to ensure GIS integration across disciplines.
- Oversee spatial data collection, validation, and visualization to support accurate and real-time decision-making.
- Administer GIS platforms such as ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and related tools.
- Ensure alignment with client’s digital strategy, smart city frameworks, and geospatial governance protocols.
- Develop interactive maps, dashboards, and spatial databases for asset tracking, infrastructure planning, and reporting.
- Deliver GIS training and technical support to internal teams and client representatives.
- Drive innovation in spatial analytics, geospatial AI, and integration with BIM and asset management systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Geographic Information Systems, including 5+ years in a managerial or lead GIS role supporting large-scale infrastructure or urban development programs.
- Expertise in ESRI platforms (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online) and geodatabase management.
- Strong proficiency in spatial analytics, web-based GIS tools, and data visualization.
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and explain complex geospatial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with BIM/GIS integration, smart city systems, or digital twin environments is an advantage.
- Prior experience in the Middle East is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, or related field (engineering or construction-related degree acceptable).
- PMP or PSP certification is desirable.
Additional Information
This is a client-facing position embedded within a PMC organization based in Riyadh, providing strategic GIS leadership and operational support to ensure successful program delivery. The role requires a proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to drive digital excellence within a multidisciplinary environment.
