About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director to design, implement, and continuously evolve a best-in-class leadership development strategy. This individual will drive leadership capability building across all levels of the organization, ensuring our leaders are equipped to enable Qiddiya to become the world's ultimate destination for play, entertainment, and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership Strategy and Framework Design: Develop and execute comprehensive leadership development aligned with the organization’s business objectives and growth trajectory. Ensure leadership development directly supports business priorities, future skills needs, and enterprise-wide transformation.
- Leadership Development Interventions: Design and implement leadership development curriculum covering all levels of leaders. Build interventions that include, but are not limited to, programs focused on elevating leadership capability throughout the organization. Leverage methodologies that really drive behavioral change including cutting edge options to drive engagement and impact.
- Building Coaching Culture: Develop and implement a structured coaching framework that is fit for purpose at all levels in the organization and can scale appropriately. Personally coach business leaders where needed. Build internal coaching capability and culture.
- Needs Analysis & Impact Measurement: Partner with business leaders and HR to identify leadership gaps and future capability needs. Utilize data-driven insights, talent analytics, and predictive assessments to refine leadership interventions and establish clear business impact
- Capability Building: Build capability in leadership development, particularly among HR Business Partners and Line Managers. Develop training, coaching, and mentorship programs to embed expertise across the organization.
- Cutting Edge Solutioning: Ensure leadership development reflects industry shifts, technological advancements, and the evolving nature of work. Champion innovation in leadership development, positioning Qiddiya at the forefront of what’s possible.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Culture Change: Partner with business leaders, HR, and external experts to Influence senior leadership and embed ownership of development across all levels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, HRIS etc. to align development planning with broader talent, workforce planning and OD strategies. Ensure an integrated, strategic approach that supports Qiddiya’s growth and aspirations.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in Management / Leadership / Executive Development, with at least 8 years in a leadership or managerial role
Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-wide leadership interventions and capability build in large, complex organizations, ideally with regional or global responsibilities including the Middle East or Saudi Arabia.
In-depth knowledge of talent and leadership trends and market benchmarks.
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field. Master’s degree (e.g. Organization Psychology, Organization Behavior) or relevant advanced HR certifications (e.g. CIPD, ATD, SHRM) preferred.
Qualification or accreditation in coaching (e.g ICF PCC) preferred
Skills & Competencies: Excellent Strategic and commercial thinking, balancing long-term planning with immediate business needs.
Proven ability to communicate, engage and influence all levels of the organization including senior leaders, driving buy-in and fostering a culture of ownership.
Thrives in a fast-moving, rapidly evolving environment, continuously improving processes Ability to work independently, lead projects, and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives and deadlines.
