Job Description
Role Purpose:
Support the Data & Analytics team by assisting in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of key datasets, dashboards, and projects. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in data analytics, reporting, and business insights while working with different departments.
Key Accountabilities:
1- Reporting & Analytics:
- Assist in preparing and maintaining periodic data reports and dashboards related to business performance, claims, and operational metrics.
- Support in cleaning, validating, and analyzing large datasets to ensure accuracy for regulatory and internal reporting.
- Contribute to preparing analytical reports for quarterly reviews, audits, and management updates.
2- Project:
- Participate in ongoing data analytics projects, including automation of reporting processes and visualization improvements.
- Attend project meetings and follow up on assigned data-related tasks and pending actions.
- Support in developing insights from data to improve decision-making.
3- Adhoc Analysis:
- Assist in preparing presentations, visualizations, and summaries for management using data-driven insights.
- Support ad-hoc analytical requests from Risk, Finance, and other business units.
Skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of data analytics concepts, descriptive and predictive analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced).
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of SQL, Python, or R for data analysis is preferred.
- High English language proficiency and strong communication skills.
