Job Description
Are you passionate about international trade, compliance, leading teams? Join Expeditors as Customs Brokerage Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring smooth customs operations while developing and guiding a high-performing team.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise daily customs brokerage operations and allocate team workloads.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and customs requirements.
- Support audits, duty deferment monitoring, and refund processes.
- Collaborate with the Trade Compliance Manager on compliance initiatives.
- Drive process improvement and system enhancements.
- Mentor and coach team members, leading performance appraisals.
- Support customer needs with timely and accurate duty/VAT reviews.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years of customs brokerage experience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to coach and build a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and Word.
- Knowledge of the global logistics industry.
- English proficiency (written and spoken).
