The Content Lead owns our entire editorial function, operating as a strategic player‑coach who balances hands‑on creation with people leadership. You will set the content vision, manage a small team of writers, and ensure every narrative across web, email, social, and product reinforces our authority in modern, tech‑enabled wealth management. Success requires equal parts creative flair and operational rigor
Key Responsibilities
- Draft the annual content strategy and own an always‑up‑to‑date editorial calendar covering email, social, product, and other channels
- Lead, mentor, and performance‑coach the content and community team—setting clear briefs, giving fast feedback, and guiding career growth.
- Act as chief editor: review, refine, and approve content pieces to ensure factual accuracy, regulatory compliance, and brand consistency.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Design to turn complex concepts into engaging narratives that educate, entertain, and convince multiple audience segments.
- Create and/or oversee production of content in many formats—long‑form articles, short‑form posts, video scripts, reports, guides, presentations, and in‑app copy.
- Build and maintain our tone‑of‑voice and style guide; run periodic training so every stakeholder writes on‑brand.
- Conduct regular gap analyses, content audits, and competitor scans to spot opportunities and keep our library fresh.
- Stay current on fintech trends, financial‑literacy topics, and regulatory developments; translate new insights into timely content ideas.
- Communicate content needs proactively and persistently across teams to secure resources, approvals, and subject‑matter input.
- Establish lightweight, transparent workflows (briefing, drafting, review, legal sign‑off, publication) that scale as the company grows.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 4 + years professional content experience, including 2 + years leading or mentoring a team in tech, fintech, or SaaS.
- Demonstrated success planning and shipping multi‑format content that educates and converts sophisticated audiences.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills; able to simplify technical and regulated topics for broad audiences
- Proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines and stakeholders in a fast‑moving startup.
- Excellent verbal and written Arabic & English; confident presenting strategy and defending editorial choices to leadership.
