We are in search of a talented and experienced Civil Hydraulic Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be primarily focused on water/sewerage/irrigation/stormwater network, preferred pipeline materials and procedures for the planning and detailed design. You will be responsible for conducting hydraulic analysis, designing related structures, and preparing technical documentation that meets local standards and regulations. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to projects that promote sustainable and effective water management solutions. Responsibilities
- Design& review topographical, geotechnical, and related surveys.
- Prepare detailed designs including specifications, drawings and BOQs of water/sewerage network system, Water pumping stations, Lift stations and Water Storage facilities.
- Assess the quality and quantity of each implementation phase of the supply scheme.
- Assess the most suitable, economic and easy way to operate and maintain pumping and network systems.
- Collaborate with civil engineers, planners, and environmental specialists to develop integrated water resource solutions.
- Preparation of project specifications, un-priced BOQs, reports and documentation.
- Collaborating with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) engineers to study and perform population census calculations and analyze the results.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in all engineering designs.
- Stay current on advancements in hydraulic engineering practices and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering.
- Master's degree is advantageous.
- Min. 5 years of experience in hydraulic engineering or water resources management.
- Strong proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM).
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams.
- Proficient in technical writing for reports and documentation.
- Knowledge of local environmental regulations related to water resources.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
