Job Purpose:
The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for managing the weighbridge operations efficiently and accurately, ensuring all vehicles entering and leaving the site are weighed and recorded properly. The role involves maintaining records, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards, and coordinating with drivers and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage the weighbridge system to weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles accurately.
- Ensure all vehicle weights are recorded correctly in the system and documentation is completed.
- Verify and match vehicle details with delivery and dispatch documents.
- Issue weighbridge tickets and related documents to drivers.
- Liaise with the logistics, dispatch, and security teams to ensure smooth vehicle flow.
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly weighbridge reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal weight limits.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or irregularities in vehicle weights or documentation.
- Keep the weighbridge area clean, organized, and safe for operations.
- Provide excellent customer service to drivers and contractors.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or administration is a plus.
- Previous experience as a weighbridge operator or similar administrative/logistics role preferred.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, weighbridge software, ERP system).
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ﷼2,000.00 - ﷼2,100.00 per month
