About Noon:
Noon Academy is the leading edtech platform in the Middle East, with over 12 million students and teachers using our app to learn, teach, and collaborate. We have recently raised $41 million in Series B funding to expand our reach and impact in the region and beyond. We are on a mission to transform the physical classroom experience by introducing our highly engaging social, group-based learning and AI to make learning fun and improve learning efficacy. Our ultimate goal is to provide access to the best teachers to every student even if that teacher is only available virtually. We believe we can do this if we blend AI, peer-to-peer learning, and a carefully designed physical space.

Office: This role is full-time and Riyadh-based.
About the role:
Noon Academy is seeking a Saudi female UX researcher for a 3-month contract (September-November 2025) to conduct classroom observations and student research at our female campuses in Riyadh. This role is critical for informing product decisions around classroom activities and educational technology features.
Scope of Work
Duration: 3 months (September - November 2025)
Location: Female campuses in Riyadh (specific locations TBD)
Schedule: Part-time, 2 days per week, mornings (7:30AM-11:00AM window, Sunday-Wednesday potentially, but schedule isn’t finalized yet)

Deliverables
1. In-Person Classroom Observations
- Attend live hybrid learning sessions at female campuses at least two days per week
- Observe teacher-student interactions and classroom management
- Note specific student engagement/dis-engagement moments throughout the session
2. Rapid Insights Delivery
Publish detailed observation report in Arabic or English (preferred) for each session within 4-6 hours after the session ends. Document student engagement, behavior patterns, and learning dynamics in Notion document format. See below a real sample of an observation conducted in one of our classrooms.
When Punishment Turned Into Purpose
- Include under-the-surface insights, not just a narrative of what happened (ie, be able to generate hypotheses about ‘why’ something happened, not just describing what happened)
- Maintain consistent documentation standards across all observations
- Debrief with the product associate (male campuses) on daily observations to extract common patterns and identify differences between male and female campuses.
- 3. Student Research & Interviews
- Conduct brief interviews with students during/after sessions to explore deeper understanding of in-class behaviors where necessary.
- Gather qualitative insights on student experience and preferences
