Job Summary
Lead the Engineering & Design team to deliver end-to-end technical solutions for aluminum and glass facade projects. Oversee estimation, design, production planning, and project delivery while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
- Manage engineering, estimation, and design processes from quotation to production drawings.
- Review shop drawings, fabrication orders, material specifications, and structural designs.
- Ensure optimized bill of materials and assembly details are delivered to production.
- Handle technical inquiries from clients, consultants, and suppliers.
Team Management:
- Hire, mentor, and develop engineers, architects, and estimators.
- Assign tasks, supervise workflows, and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Conduct technical training and participate in recruitment.
Project & Quality Control:
- Implement ISO-compliant QA procedures and project management methodologies.
- Monitor KPIs, resource planning, and milestone tracking.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to design integrity.
Innovation & Collaboration:
- Identify process improvements, new technologies, and market expansion opportunities.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to foster long-term relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years in aluminum/glass facade design/engineering, including 5+ years in leadership.
- Expertise in structural engineering, cost estimation, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and project management tools.
- Fluent English (written/spoken); Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
- Strong managerial skills with ability to lead technical teams.
