Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and identify potential cost overruns.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to provide accurate financial reports.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and variations as necessary.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Advise on procurement processes and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle to ensure quality outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying and technical engineering within the construction industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with a solid understanding of cost management and contract administration.
- Proficient in relevant software such as Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
