Purpose of the job
Lead a team of merchandisers and supervise the merchandising activities for the assigned outlets and manage the dedicated area within the stores according to merchandising policy/ planograms and to optimize the stock levels and display to realize the sales targets for the routes in order to maximize availability and visibility as per the company standard.
Key Accountabilities
Lead and manage a team of merchandisers for assigned outlets, to ensure proper product availability and visibility in order to achieve sales and as a result to increase the share of shelf in the outlet. To achieve the required SADAFCO’s merchandising as per company standards.
Obtain and maintain up to date information of the sales and distribution channels and of competitors’ activity throughout the area, and share feedback/ observation and discuss with the sales team for appropriate actions. Gather and obtain market information about competitors and share them with his line manager.
and execute the daily journey plan for all merchandisers in the team, in order to plan customer visits efficiently. Ensure the team of Merchandisers are effectively using tools provided by the company to track and monitor instore inventory and performance.
- Monitor the Product’s quality and shelf life at the outlet, to ensure that the reserved product’s space is filled up accordingly and to minimize expired product.
- Ensure no expired product is displayed, and ensures wastage control according to company policy.
- Make sure products with the nearest expiry dates are displayed at the front of the shelf. (FIFO)
Implement all new customer contracts in addition to existing contracts, in order to achieve a fair share of shelf among product groups and customers and maximize the availability of the products in the market. Ensure shelf space is in line with annual rental agreements.
Analyze space to sales ratios to ensure to ensure that bestsellers reach their full potential. Conduct random spot checks of outlets for compliance with annual shelf rental agreements and company merchandising policy.
- Ensure effective utilization and proper maintenance of all company assets (chillers/freezers) and point of sale material to a high standard in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure effective and creative use of point of sale material to maximize sales and market share
- Ensure the current correct price is displayed for all products at all times.
Prepare and administer daily merchandising reports, stock audits and advise any procedural concerns, to ensure all merchandising related administration is completed correctly and on time.

Job Requirements
- Educational level: minimum Bachelor Degree
- Specific diploma/education: e.g. Business, Marketing or Sales
- Languages: Arabic, English (fluent in speaking & writing).
- Other requirements: Numerate and analytical, people management experience, disciplined, precise, organized, proactive, good computer skills, strong communication skills
