Istituto Marangoni Riyadh is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Teacher in Fashion Photography with advanced skills in digital imaging, visual storytelling, and the use of AI-driven tools for image-making. The ideal candidate is a practicing professional with a strong aesthetic vision and cultural awareness, capable of guiding students through both traditional and innovative photographic processes, from concept development to post-production, within a fashion and luxury industry context.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver studio-based and digital lessons in Fashion Photography with a project-oriented and industry-relevant approach.
Teach technical and creative aspects of digital photography, lighting, composition, and post-production, including the use of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture One.
Guide students in the conceptual development of fashion narratives, visual storytelling, and the creation of editorial and campaign imagery.
Introduce and integrate AI-based tools (e.g. Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway ML, Adobe Firefly, Krea.ai) into photographic workflows for research, ideation, and production.
Support students in developing hybrid visual projects across still photography, video, and CGI environments.
Encourage critical thinking on the ethics and aesthetics of AI in fashion imagery.
Supervise student progress, providing constructive feedback, and promoting individual creative identities.
Collaborate with other faculty to design interdisciplinary projects bridging photography with fashion styling, art direction, and digital design.
Academic & Professional Requirements:
Minimum two years of teaching experience in higher education (preferably in fashion, photography, or media arts)
Proven professional experience in fashion photography, editorial or commercial photography, and/or photographic art direction.
Strong skills in digital post-production and color grading (Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One).Proficiency in generative AI tools and digital imaging software used in contemporary image-making.
Up-to-date professional portfolio demonstrating creative, technical, and conceptual expertise.
