Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert - Process Mechanical to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will provide advanced technical expertise and guidance in process mechanical engineering to ensure the successful design, implementation, and operation of our innovative projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary resource for process mechanical engineering, providing expert knowledge and advice on best practices and industry standards for pump stations.
- Review and validate design proposals and engineering documents, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and optimize mechanical processes and systems aligned with project goals.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, providing innovative solutions and recommendations.
- Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies to inform project decisions and mitigate potential issues.
- Lead training and mentorship initiatives for junior engineers and team members, fostering a team-oriented environment of learning and improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure Qiddiya remains at the forefront of innovation in process mechanical engineering.
- Prepare and present technical reports, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 15 years, of work experience in process mechanical design for industries such as water treatment, wastewater treatment, pump stations, district cooling, and TSE facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems design, including pumps, valves, compressors, heat exchangers, and other critical process equipment used in industrial systems.
- Experience in reviewing technical reports, technical drawings, and hydraulic models.
- Experience in the design and implementation of mechanical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, including experience with hydraulic analysis and fluid dynamics.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and simulation software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and CFD simulation tools.
- Knowledge of KSA authority regulations and experience working within the context of obtaining approval for process mechanical systems and designs.
- Strong understanding of system integration, and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines on large-scale infrastructure projects.
