We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Engineer / Sales Manager with proven experience within the heavy equipment industry to lead and manage sales operations for an esteemed organization based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, specializing in the heavy equipment sector. The successful candidate will focus on driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and managing a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the sales team to ensure achievement of sales targets and business growth
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the heavy equipment rental and sales market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities
- Leverage extensive knowledge of leasing, financing, and warranty options for heavy equipment
- Maintain a robust network of industry contacts and clients within the Saudi Arabian market, particularly Riyadh
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify and act on opportunities
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and negotiate contracts with key clients
- Utilize CRM software and sales analytics tools to track performance and optimize sales efforts
- Mentor and train the sales team to enhance productivity and professional development
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer satisfaction standards
- Travel as necessary to meet clients and attend industry events
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in a sales managerial role within the heavy equipment industry
- Deep knowledge of heavy equipment sales, rental, and trading
- Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian (Riyadh) market and customer base
- Established network of contacts and clients within the heavy equipment sector
- Expertise in leasing, financing, and warranty options related to heavy equipment
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet or exceed sales targets
- Valid Saudi Driving License (Required)
