ROLE OVERVIEW
We are searching for a senior litigation specialist attorney to represent NEOM values and protect its interest by providing legal support. The role requires all manner of litigation related expertise as this hire will help to broaden the skills offering of an agile and growing L&C team. Drafting skills, technical expertise, flexibility and relationship management will be critical for the successful applicant..
REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY
- Build relationships with the business to become a trusted advisor
- Work effectively with outside counsel, serving as the primary internal liaison on projects, real estate and hotel matters
- Provide relevant expertise and assurance to relevant teams on drafting and negotiating contracts and providing legal advisory support on various requirements
- Analyze and communicate legal advice with respect to any Project/ construction related queries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- High attention to details for drafting
- Ability to build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competence in negotiating with stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Flexibility to adjust engagement strategies based on changing circumstances or feedback.
- Uphold ethical standards in all stakeholder interactions and communications.
- Advise on environmental law, planning, corporate structuring, investment management and disputes, as required
ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES
The senior litigation specialist responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Stakeholder Management
- Analyze stakeholders’ needs, interests, and influence to prioritize engagement strategies..
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through regular communication and meetings.
- Work closely with internal teams, including communications, project management, and legal, to ensure stakeholder interests are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Identify and address potential conflicts or issues with stakeholders proactively.
- Mediate disputes or misunderstandings, ensuring that resolutions are in the best interest of both the stakeholders and the organization.
- Support the Legal & Compliance Department function by taking the lead on Projects transactions and the related documents, reviews and discussions
- Engage in drafting and negotiating various types of agreements and ancillary documents
- Assist and support others within the legal department by providing advice, training and/or guidance
- Provide other legal services and advice to the company as needed

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Superior academic credentials with a law degree from a leading university and/or law school
- Willingness to be based in NEOM community
- Desire to flex into other legal disciplines to provide comprehensive business support welcome
- Saudi national a plus
- GCC practice a plus
- Arabic fluency a plus
- Proven track record of successfully managing relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- High level of emotional intelligence and diplomacy.
