JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of low voltage systems in new large sports stadium construction projects across Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role involves managing complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with various stakeholders in the Kingdom.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of low voltage system projects, including preconstruction, construction, and commissioning
- Technical Expertise: Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian jurisdictional and architectural design requirements, applicable codes, and safety standards
- Budgeting and Scheduling: Develop and manage budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve issues and meet project objectives
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with low voltage systems in large venues
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor team members to ensure project success
- BIM Management: Oversee the BIM modeling process and ensure its effective implementation throughout the project lifecycle
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing low voltage system projects, preferably in sports stadiums
- Demonstrated construction experience in Saudi Arabia is essential
- Extensive experience with new construction projects and familiarity with efficient and safe delivery methods
Skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in project management software and technical drawing interpretation
- Understanding of Saudi Arabian construction regulations and business practices
- Expert knowledge of construction means and methods for efficient and safe project delivery
- Proficiency in BIM modeling and management of BIM processes
Language Requirements
- Fluency in English required
- Arabic language skills highly advantageous
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Position based in Saudi Arabia with frequent site visits across the Kingdom
- Must excel in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to adapt to local cultural norms and business practices is crucial
