CCDS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect to lead our cloud strategy and implementation efforts. This role is critical in designing and optimizing cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients in Saudi Arabia, driving innovation, efficiency, and security across their cloud environments. You will work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure that cloud solutions align with organizational goals.
As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will utilize your deep knowledge of cloud services and architecture best practices to address complex challenges and deliver robust solutions. Your strategic insight will be essential in guiding clients through their cloud transformation journeys, enabling them to harness the full potential of cloud technology.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure tailored to client requirements.
- Evaluate existing cloud solutions and provide recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.
- Develop cloud migration strategies that minimize risk and drive performance improvements for clients.
- Lead the technical design process and ensure compliance with architectural and security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services with existing systems and processes.
- Provide expertise in cloud governance and operational best practices to ensure seamless cloud operations.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in cloud technologies and foster an innovative culture within the organization.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing and mentorship programs to cultivate junior staff skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud architecture with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience in designing cloud-native architectures, including serverless and microservices architectures.
- Proficient understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to discuss complex concepts with non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.
