Position Name: Senior Automation & Control Engineer
Job Goal:
Implement the automation solutions projects and form a project team to follow up on all project stages, supervision, and guide the automation team.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Control system Design, including PLC Programming, HMI, VFD, Servo Drives, as well as Robotics systems
- Design Electrical Schematics Diagrams & Control panel design
- Instructing & guiding the Electrical Technician in Control system wiring.
- Project Costing, Selection of Industrial Automation products as well as Robotics solutions
- Responsible for organizing and planning the Automation Projects.
- Implement project documentation & lead the team in project activities
- Lead the Projects from initial design concepts in Presale, Post-sale & Installation Stages
Qualifications and Experience:
- Good Knowledge in Siemens Industrial Automation products (PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo Drives) & Robotics/Kinematics (KUKA, FANUC, UR)
- Should have good knowledge of Electrical Circuits, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic circuits
- Must have experience in the Machine manufacturing industry or a similar field of experience
- Must have good Knowledge in Electrical Schematics Design Software (ePlan / Solid works Electrical / AutoCAD Electrical)
- Must have hands-on experience in Siemens PLC programming, HMI Design, Motion controller, etc
- Must have hands-on experience in Robotics/Kinematics programming and commissioning
- Additional Certification in Industrial Automation will be added value
- Hands-on Experience in PLC with Servo Motion controller with Multiple axes will be an added value
- Must be actively involved in Project Execution, Installation & Commissioning activities.
- Must be familiar with major communication protocols in control systems
- Analyzing & Troubleshooting skills
- Good Communication Skills in the English language.
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM
