Job Description
Join our Telecom Infrastructure Solutions (TIS) Business Unit as a Datacentre technical Sales Support Engineer and play a key role in shaping the future of datacentre solutions across the MEA region. You'll be the technical backbone of our sales efforts—designing cutting-edge solutions, supporting strategic bids, and working closely with sales, product managers, and partners to win high-impact projects. Some of the main responsibilities:
- Translate customer needs into smart, scalable datacentre solutions.
- Design and draft technical proposals with precision and creativity.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to build accurate, competitive offers.
- Create detailed bills of materials and support installation teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Lead pre-sales efforts, guide partners, and deliver impactful training sessions.
- Be the go-to technical expert for datacentre projects across the MEA region.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in datacentre infrastructure design (power & cooling).
- Strong background in technical pre-sales and complex solution drafting.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, electrical, or mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD and certifications (e.g., Uptime Institute) are a plus.
- Fluent in English, Arabic or French are bonuses.
- Deep knowledge of datacentre architecture and deployment. Uptime Certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical, self-driven, and structured with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
