Sales Strategy Development:
Qualification :-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:-
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a management role within the heavy machinery or construction equipment industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
The role requires frequent travel within the assigned region.
Work may involve attending trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings outside regular working hours.
Job Description:-
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with the companys overall objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs within the region.
- Set clear, measurable goals for the sales team to drive growth in market share and revenue.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to ensure continuous development of the sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including contractors, construction companies, and industrial enterprises.
- Address customer concerns and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Regularly visit clients and potential customers to promote products and services.
Sales Execution:
- Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Ensure that all sales activities are executed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor sales metrics, analyses performance data, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet or exceed sales targets.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the heavy machinery sector.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to the senior management team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future.
Budget & Financial Management:
- Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximise Return on Investment.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability.
- Forecast sales and contribute to financial planning for the region.
- Work closely with internal departments, including Marketing, Operations, Parts, Service, HR, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics, to ensure seamless coordination.
- Undertake additional job roll-related tasks as necessary to support the companys mission and operations.
- Carry out additional tasks as requested by management.
