Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new customers in the foundry, construction, mining, oil & gas, and machinery sectors.
- Generate leads through market research, customer visits, exhibitions, and networking.
- Follow up on inquiries and convert them into sales.
Customer Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their technical and commercial requirements.
- Provide pre-sales and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle complaints, coordinate with technical and production teams for resolutions.
Quotations & Pricing:
- Prepare and submit commercial offers and quotations based on input from costing and production departments.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules within company guidelines.
- Track the status of submitted quotes and follow up actively.
Sales Reporting & Coordination:
- Maintain sales records, customer databases, and visit reports.
- Update CRM/ERP systems with sales activity, forecast, and order status.
- Provide regular updates on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Metallurgy), Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of B2B industrial sales experience, preferably in metal casting, manufacturing, or heavy industry.
- Good knowledge of steel/iron castings, machining, or industrial components is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or ERP tools.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally, as needed.
