Job Description
The Sales Executive - Food Ingredients is responsible for developing and expanding the sales of food ingredients across GCC countries. This role requires identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, sourcing high-quality food ingredients, and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers and customers. The Sales Executive will travel frequently within the region to meet clients, explore new markets, and drive business growth.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy for food ingredients in the GCC market, focusing on various applications and industries.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential customers, including manufacturers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Travel at least two weeks per month to meet clients, explore business opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Source food ingredients by identifying reliable suppliers and evaluating product quality, pricing, and supply capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers and customers to ensure profitability and sustainability.
- Manage stock levels and ensure efficient procurement and inventory management to meet customer demands.
- Develop sales forecasts and business growth plans to align with company objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management, highlighting key performance metrics and market insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement)
- MBA (preferred)
Additional Information
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales within the food ingredients industry
- Preferred 5 years of experience in a similar role
