WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle, conveying knowledge and information about the Axis network video portfolio to our partners and end-users. Your primary focus will be on delivering product presentations, demos, and training sessions to showcase the benefits of Axis network video solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with Key Account Managers and Inside Sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at select end-user accounts.
Apart from above mentioned tasks it will be your job to:
  • Providing technical guidance and support to partners and end-users throughout the sales cycle
  • Conducting product demonstrations, pilot installations, and site surveys
  • Supporting the sales organization in responding to tenders, RFPs, and RFQs
  • Providing technical training and support to Axis Partners and end-users
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest Axis products and features to offer tailored solutions to customers
  • Coordinating technical requirements for Axis events and exhibitions
  • Working closely with the Key Account Management and Inside Sales teams to find, influence, and close projects
  • Making customer visits together with Key Account Managers and conducting product demonstrations and pilot installations
  • Helping the sales organization qualify tenders to select projects that will yield a return on investment in terms of time and energy to close the deal
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a focused and self-motivated team player with a technical background within Security or Networking. You will have the ability to hold inspiring presentations and demonstrations and to build strategic and trustworthy relationships at all levels.


You will have experience in pre-sales, project-based work within the video security market, alternatively within the IT channel and have knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies and applications. You will have the technical confidence to setup and demonstrate complex solutions within Network surveillance and solutions. Knowledge of VMS software and a basic understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud concepts, Gen AI use cases is an advantage. Finally, you are creative, curious and passionate for technology.

Apart from this you should have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills; proficiency in English is required and Arabic skills is not a must but preferred.
  • Proven experience in pre-sales within the IT channel, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • IT exposure in networking, IP-based technologies, and applications with sound knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP), VMS software, and hardware technology
  • Preferred industrial certification in the IT and CCTV industries
  • Preferred industry experience in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems
  • Excellent communication skills to develop internal and external relationships
  • Ability to provide effective presentations and demonstrations to all levels of people, including Axis corporate management
  • High level of self-initiative, self-motivation, and sales-oriented
  • Travelling is required within the assigned region
  • Relevant work experience in the Saudi Arabian market with a driving License is preferred


The role involves some traveling within Saudi Arabia, UAE and Middle East, also some conferences to the Swedish Headquarters in Lund and across EMEA.
