Responsibilities:
- Studying all project works in terms of occupational safety and health.
- Ensure the availability of emergency devices and tools at the site.
- Ensure that project personnel have been trained to perform their work safely.
- Ensuring the safety of the workplace and the safety of equipment.
- Ensure that all work areas in progress at the site are secured.
- Emphasis on the contractor to adhere to the project safety models and circulars.
- Conducting periodic inspections of the project workplaces and reporting any notifications to the project manager.
- To stop any unsafe work.
- Investigating all accidents and determining measures to prevent their recurrence in the future.
- Keeping a record of all accidents and their statistics and reporting them to the legal authorities according to the system.
- Giving advice to the project manager related to occupational safety and health. Supervising the placement and adequacy of health and safety signs in the project.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- 5-10 years’ experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position dealing with PMC/ Engineer / Employer.
- Proven previous experience in infrastructure project is a MUST.
- Microsoft Office
- Language Skills: Working proficiency in English language is mandatory, Arabic is a plus.
