Job Description
OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:
The Director of Revenue is responsible for driving total revenue performance and maximizing profitability for Rosewood Red Sea and Rosewood Amaala. This cluster role provides strategic leadership in forecasting, pricing, distribution, and channel optimization. The Director of Revenue will ensure effective inventory and rate management practices while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations to optimize market share and deliver against business objectives across both ultra-luxury properties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and lead revenue management strategies to drive RevPAR, GOPPAR, and total revenue performance for both Rosewood Red Sea and Rosewood Amaala.
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes for rooms and ancillary revenue streams.
- Analyze market trends, competitor data, and performance reports to inform dynamic pricing and distribution decisions.
- Manage room inventory across all segments, ensuring the optimal mix of business and channel profitability.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing use of revenue management systems (RMS), business intelligence tools, and data analytics platforms.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Digital teams to align promotions and campaigns with revenue objectives.
- Monitor and improve channel performance including GDS, OTA, direct, and brand.com channels.
- Conduct regular strategy meetings with key stakeholders from both properties to assess results and refine plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional and corporate revenue teams for alignment and best practices.
- Mentor and develop revenue and reservations team members across both resorts, ensuring a culture of commercial excellence.
- Stay abreast of local and global market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry innovations to maintain competitive advantage.
- Ensure all revenue-related decisions comply with Rosewood policies and reflect the brand’s positioning in the ultra-luxury segment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in revenue management, with at least 3 years in a multi-property or cluster leadership role.
- Experience in ultra-luxury or luxury hospitality environments is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced commercial certifications are an asset.
- Expert knowledge of revenue management systems (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto), CRS (e.g., SynXis), and channel/distribution platforms.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen.
- Demonstrated success in driving market share growth and maximizing profitability.
- High attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
- Flexible to travel between Rosewood Red Sea and Rosewood Amaala as needed
