OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:

The Assistant Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing for Rosewood Red Sea and Rosewood Amaala, located along Saudi Arabia’s pristine west coast, is responsible for driving sales performance across both properties by developing and executing targeted sales strategies. This role focuses on generating revenue from key market segments, including leisure, corporate, and group bookings, while aligning with Rosewood’s ultra-luxury standards and Resorts vision of holistic wellness, Life style, sustainability, and regenerative tourism. The Assistant Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing will work under the direction of the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, leading sales efforts and Marketing to enhance market share and foster strong client relationships in one of the world’s most exclusive luxury destinations

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for rooms, F&B, spa, and other revenue streams, aiming for a minimum of 8% year-over-year sales growth for both properties.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key accounts, including luxury travel agencies, corporate clients, tour operators, and consortia, to drive bookings and repeat business.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team across Rosewood Red Sea and Rosewood Amaala, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture that prioritizes exceptional client service.
  • Manage sales budgets, optimizing resource allocation for client entertainment, travel, and promotional activities to maximize ROI while controlling costs.
  • Implement sustainable sales practices, such as leveraging digital platforms and eco-conscious partnerships, in alignment with Amaala’s and Red Sea commitment to environmental stewardship.
  • Collaborate with marketing, culinary, and wellness teams to ensure sales offerings reflect the cultural heritage of the Red Sea region and Amaala’s wellness-focused vision.
  • Ensure compliance with Rosewood’s global brand standards, local regulations, and industry best practices in all sales activities, maintaining a consistent and authentic brand image.
  • Utilize CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and analytics platforms to monitor performance, manage client relationships, and optimize sales strategies.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including revenue management and operations, to align sales efforts with resort-wide initiatives, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement through market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and client feedback to enhance sales performance and market penetration.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field; certifications in sales or hospitality management are a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a luxury hotel, resort, or wellness-focused property.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration and maintain a client-centric culture.
  • Strong understanding of luxury travel market trends, client expectations, and wellness-oriented sales practices, with a passion for building lasting client relationships.
  • Experience implementing sustainable sales practices, such as digital-first outreach or eco-friendly client engagement, preferably in luxury or environmentally sensitive destinations.
  • Familiarity with sales and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Delphi) and emerging hospitality technologies to optimize sales processes and client engagement.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or additional languages is a plus.
