Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Sales Manager is to develop, direct, and own the sales team by positioning Emerson Pressure management products and solutions as the supplier of choice in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
This role includes driving sales growth in new key identified customer accounts, with a particular focus on further growing the extensive installed base within these areas. The position will require to systematically develop, support, and implement growth strategies to achieve or exceed orders targets. Responsibilities include providing customer support, achieving business budgets, driving strategic programs, developing new business opportunities, and supporting the team. Opportunities can range from targeted driven displacement, impacting the market by changing gate and ball valves to triple offset butterfly valves for specific industry applications or defined market segments. Engaging with customers and the local sales organization represented by the LBP under their responsibility will be crucial for successful execution of the job function.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Own the Pressure management Business unit sales team for solutions, products and business development initiatives in Saudi Arabia.
- Meet or exceed territory financial objectives as required in support of the Pressure management Business unit MEA business plan.
- Direct, develop, collaborate with and support sales team and LBPs in the region.
- Develop and implement sales a strategy for the region that deliver above market growth rates.
- plan and implement KOB3 business and improve revenue and profit from the existing installed base.
- Take a pro-active role in defining strategies for winning Entity KOB1/2 projects as well as supporting Destination KOB1/2 pursuit activities.
- Register Emerson Saudi PRM manufacturing facility as approved facility with customers in the region.
- Prepare and present marketing forecasts, pricing surveys, competitor intelligence and country marketing plans
- Work closely with other Emerson Automation Solutions Business Units and enhance pull-through content.
- Develop long-term relationships with senior management within customer accounts to ensure awareness of the capabilities of Pressure management Business unit and influence buying decision.
- Improve customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating, and implementing solutions to their needs.
- Develop a robust project pursuit process for both entity and destination project activity.
- Lead Site Plan proficiency development and ensure that robust plans are developed to improve KOB3 potential at critical sites.
- Keep up to date with developments in products, industries, and market trends.
- Stay current with the CRM pipeline, appointment and reporting activities.
- Ensure Emerson Ethics and trade compliance procedures are closely followed with all business transactions.
- Travel and meet customer as a key responsibility, to develop relationship and promote value selling of Emerson products, solutions, and services.
- Financial Requirements: Will have the ownership of annual entity order booking and reporting, reviewed on monthly basis, and commitment reported on a Quarterly basis.
- Coordinate and support to collect the overdue payments as per the agreed terms of the PO/contract.
- Project Pursuit: Engage early & influence partners (End users, Licensors, Project Management Team (PMT) and EPCs) from Pre-FEED & FEED stage of the projects.
- Collaborate and coordinate seamlessly with various Emerson Business Units sales team to find opportunities to collaborate and to formulate winning strategy for projects.
- Maintain C-level/Sr. Management Level relationship with End users and EPCs.
- After Market: Required to cover customer sites and end users to provide required products, solutions, and services. Engage early in customer turnarounds/shutdowns. Engage with customer for cataloging the new project installed base and secure orders for spare parts.
- Engage deeply with end users to upgrade Emerson product/ technology, replace obsolete products, and displace competitor products to improve plant reliability and safety. Support customer to update their data base of products and parts and establish long terms contracts to provide products, spare parts and services.
- Mapping customer installed base (IB) and creating site plan is routine part of the job. Secure business for Emerson as a OEM Life Cycle service Provider.
- Internal Requirements: Participate in PRM budgeting process & monthly POR (Presidents Operations Report) call. Undertake training to meet the customer site visit requirements, including offshore oil & gas fields. Attend and present in internal meetings and training, that includes BU, FCTL & Emerson MEA events. Own the internal data and reporting requirements, that includes speaking publicly for DOA (delegation of authority), communicating critical initiatives and opportunity funnel in internal review meetings. Coordinate to publish success stories through internal portals.

- Must be fluent in English (Read, right and communicate)
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Power Bi
For this Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an engineering field- or Equivalent.
- proven track record selling experience with Oil & Gas and diverse industries.
- Sales experience in the Saudi region
- Knowledge of Industrial and Natural Gas Regulators, Pressure Relief Valves, and process industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-Graduate in Business Administration (MBA or MIM).
- Ability to speak Arabic will be an added advantage.
