WSP is seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Inspector to join our team for a major infrastructure project in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control within large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
- Conduct inspections and tests on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor construction activities and materials to ensure adherence to approved quality plans and procedures.
- Review and verify contractor’s quality documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and material approvals.
- Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality documentation.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
- Support the QA/QC Engineer and Project Manager in ensuring overall quality objectives are met.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably on infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
- Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of international quality standards and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
