Job Overview
The Project Manager oversees critical operational functions, ensuring the effective management of directional drilling and measurement while drilling (MWD) activities. They coordinate between teams, manage client communications, and drive client engagement and upselling efforts to enhance business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Upselling Opportunities: Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell additional services and solutions to clients, enhancing revenue streams.
- Upsell KPI’s: will have a dedicated KPI for upselling to be aligned with Sales representative.
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs.
- Leading Client Communication: Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Accountable for Revenue Growth: Implement strategies to increase revenue through effective client engagement and upselling.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the directional drilling team, fostering a culture of client-centricity and continuous improvement.
Skills:
- Project Management: Strong planning, execution, and project lifecycle management skills.
- Drilling Operations Knowledge: Solid understanding of drilling tools, techniques, and field operations.
- Leadership & Team Coordination: Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across remote and field environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive and analytical in resolving technical and operational challenges.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to exceeding client expectations and delivering high-value service.
- Digital Fluency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools (e.g., MS Project), and ERP systems.
Qualifications:
Required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Drilling Services, including at least 2 years in project or operations leadership roles.
- Proven experience in managing field operations and cross-functional teams.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related technical field.
- PMP Certification or equivalent formal project management training.
- Experience working in an international or multi-geozone drilling environment.
