Pricing Intelligence

Managing the accuracy and inclusivity of the monitoring tools, analysis reports and Ad Hoc data extractions leading to better business decisions, new product development and process improvement across the Retail Pricing Department. Work closely with external actuaries and compliance to insure updated pricing methods and regulations are applied.

Key Accountabilities:

1- Retail performance management:

• Manage and monitor the performance of all products and distribution channels highlighting our achievements against the breakthrough targets using management dashboards, analysis, reports, insight information covering all retail products across all channels.
• Identify and analyse deficiencies and areas of concern to steer our efforts towards corrective actions.

2- New product developments:

• Initiate pricing new products and product enhancements/amendments.
• Ensure clarity, completeness and timely submission of data to the actuarial firm.
• Ensure proper pricing documentation and sign-off throughout the PD project plan.
• Analyse the performance of the new products and suggest corrective actions to maintain profitability, volume and contribution.

3- Analysis and reporting:

• Ensure submission of the renewal report as per the agreed KPI to sales.
• Ensure accuracy and inclusivity of the automated daily dashboards and the monthly Retail Dashboard.
• Ensure accuracy and inclusivity of the Monthly Retail Dashboard and keep it up-to-date with all changes in products and targets.
• Ensure accuracy and correctives of Ad hoc reports submitted to the business.

4- Documentation and process enhancement:

• Initiate system and process enhancements and define any automation possibility within the retail pricing scope.
• Responsible for keeping the policies and guidelines up-to-date with new requirements and policies.
• Manage proper sign-off, documentation and distribution of new/updated policies and processes.
• Manage proper documentation and record keeping across the retail pricing function.

5- People Development:

• Ensure and facilitate goal setting, manage and constantly review individual performance with all retail pricing team.
• Provide regular feedback, coaching and development.
• Lead, motivate, empower and enable direct reports by providing the necessary tools and support required to achieve the organizational development objectives.
• Directly manage a team of two to three senior officers. Responsible for their career planning and growth in the company.
• Conduct ongoing 1:1 sessions and coaching.
• Insure the team responsibilities and objectives are inline with the company goals and targets.

• Leadership and management skills
• Proficient in data Analysis, portfolio management and reporting
• Min 3 years’ experience in a management position
