Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Specialist to join our growing cyber security team. This role will be support the sales team by identifying client requirements, delivering tailored demonstrations, and aligning cybersecurity strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the sales team to identify, qualify, and drive sales opportunities from a technical perspective
- Lead technical discovery sessions and understand customer pain points
- Develop and deliver product presentations, demos, and proof of concepts (PoCs)
- Act as a trusted advisor for cybersecurity and compliance needs with a strong emphasis on OpenText solutions (e.g., EnCase, Threat Detection & Response, Endpoint Security)
- Assist in responding to RFPs/RFIs and technical evaluations
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and validate solution architectures
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and OpenText product enhancements
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
- Solid understanding of OpenText cybersecurity or forensic solutions (e.g., OpenText EnCase, ArcSight, or other OpenText Security Suite components)
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR), and threat detection methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, cloud security, and data protection technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
