Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, be capable of reading blueprints, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
- Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
- Install and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and compliance with local codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals like electricians and HVAC technicians.
- Adhere to health and safety standards and local building codes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or vocational training program.
- Valid plumbing license or certification (as per local regulations).
- Proven experience as a plumber (typically 2–5 years).
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Good physical condition and strength with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in tight spaces.
