Position Overview:
The Manager of Risk at Qiddiya Investment Company will play a critical role in enhancing the organization's risk management framework. This position entails the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with various projects and operations. The Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that effective risk management practices are integrated into project planning and execution, thereby supporting the achievement of Qiddiya’s vision as a premier cultural and entertainment destination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the Qiddiya Project risk management framework and seek continuous improvement.
- Implement Programme and Project(s) risk management plans and produce Programme and Project Risk Register(s)
- Implement the necessary training and provide support to project teams and partners.
- Apply an understanding of financial instruments, contract mechanisms and insurance to mitigate risk.
- Provide ad hoc advice on Risk, Issues and their mitigations
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Construction Law, Project Management, or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in risk management, particularly in large-scale projects or investment environments.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the use of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) tools for the analysis of cost estimates and schedules
- Experience on development / infrastructure projects of 1 billion SAR - 10 billion SAR + in a Project Controls or Program Management Office (PMO) role.
- Proven track record working in collaboration with project directors and project teams to develop risk registers and risk management / control plans using facilitated risk workshop and other methods
- Knowledge of principles of contingency management.
