Job Description
- Develop and implement lift plans for critical and major lifts including duel lifts, lifts up to 250t. This includes selection of rigging arrangement, co-ordination of ground condition checks and verification, radius checks
- Peer review of all major and critical lifts on the project
- Ensuring correct set-up and use of super lift for all major/critical lifts
- Responsible for lift gear register for both JV and all sub-contractors. Ensuring daily checks and formal quarterly inspection is carried out
- Anti-collision system set-up and daily verification
- Use of lift plan and crane configuration software
- Monitor and ensure sufficient lifting supervisors are deployed for site operations
- Develop RAMS for erection and dismantle of tower cranes
- Develop RAMS for erection and dismantle of crawler cranes
- Develop RAMS for set-up of mobile cranes
- Supervision of erection and dismantle of tower cranes and crawler cranes
- Order and procurement of all lift gears for the project
- Onboarding and training for all riggers onto the project
- Co-ordination with the Lifting subject matter expert (SME) and address any issues raised
- Providing morning briefings to labour for Rigging operations
- Responsible for daily co-ordination of all lifting equipment on the project
- Responsible for co-ordination with all crane suppliers for ordering of cranes and crane components
Qualifications
- Certification in Lifting Supervision – Proven knowledge of lifting regulations and best practices.
- Health & Safety Regulations Expertise – Strong understanding of workplace safety.
- Risk Assessment & Lift Planning Experience – Ability to plan and execute complex lifts.
- Relevant Engineering or Technical Degree.
- Previous experience in construction lifting operations, rigging, or crane management.
