Job Purpose:
Handle the provision of providing advice on legal matters, and legal support to the RCU’s internal stakeholders on a wide array of topics relating to the RCU’s activities and jurisdiction; the review and analysis of legal materials and research; and drafting of legal memos, materials, and advices.
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct thorough legal analysis and research, to provide credible insight, and relevant and timely advice.
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders in relation to the works, projects, and initiatives of the RCU, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom, as well as the RCU’s internal Bylaws and Policies.
- Provide legal advice and recommendations on important legal matters, in order to support in the decision-making process, and safeguard and protect the interests of the RCU against any legal liability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest legal and regulatory developments relating to RCU's activities, and develop recommendations to the direct manager on potential impact on operational activities, in order to provide clear and proactive guidance on potential impact on operational activities, as well as on important and/or complex matters from their early stages.
- Ensure establishing and maintaining positive relationships internal stakeholders, through synergizing efforts and collaboration to support the interests of RCU.
- Perform any other job related duties, as may be required by the direct manager and superiors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, or relevant field (Masters preferred)
- 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Additional Requirements:
- Written and Oral proficiency of Arabic & English languages.
- Excellent communication skills.
