We are looking for a Lead Technical Safety Engineer (Onshore/offshore) to work in our PMS project in Khafji in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Knowledge / Experience (Skills)
- At least fourteen(14) years of experience; Eight (6) years of them within the field of Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
- PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
- Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial
- Fire Protection, Fire & Gas detection experience in the design of Fire Protection system.
- Process Safety Studies, utilities and offsite facilities experience at the conceptual, FEED, or detailed design stage of medium to large size projects.
- Knowledge of process safety & Fire engineering practices, economics principles, calculation methods, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures.
- Extensive experience in Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbons, and/or Infrastructure industries.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Ensure Pre FEED Preliminary Hazard Assessment recommendations are included in FEED deliverables.
- Check, review and approve all Technical safety deliverables by FEED contractor.
- Strong knowledge in Fire and Gas protection, FW network and HSE studies and workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL etc)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the appropriate field.
