Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work within a new PMO working on major highways / infrastructure projects in the KSA Capital, Riyadh City.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the design review and coordination of landscape packages across multiple road infrastructure projects within the Road Program.
- Assist in the evaluation and monitoring of landscape designs submitted by third-party consultants, ensuring compliance with approved standards and project requirements.
- Contribute to design updates for projects currently under development, coordinating with external design firms to reflect site-specific requirements specified by stakeholders and client.
- Follow up on awarded tenders by supporting the documentation review and site visits to ensure landscape implementation is according to the tendered design.
- Communicate with individual PMCM teams regarding site progress, landscape-related issues, and coordination of design intent during construction.
- Prepare documentation, BOQs, planting plans, and technical support materials for internal PMO evaluation and communication with stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations to support internal reviews, design meetings, and communication with the PMCM’s and the client.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field (e.g. Urban Design), alternatively Bachelor's Degree in Architecture - specialized in Landscape Design.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in landscape design and supervision, preferably within infrastructure or public sector projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, preferably familiar with BIM tools (Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D) and GIS.
- Basic understanding of landscape construction methods, materials, and regional plant species.
- Basic knowledge of local Authority requirements and environmental regulations.

- Strong design and technical documentation skills.
- Capability to work independently while coordinating with senior team members.
- Effective communicator with strong visual presentation skills.
- Demonstrated interest in sustainable landscape practices and urban ecology.
