JCB Operator (piling works) duties and responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Operate JCB safely: Ensure safe operation of JCB equipment during piling works, following company procedures and regulatory guidelines.
2. Excavate and prepare sites: Use JCB to excavate and prepare sites for piling, ensuring accurate digging and grading.
3. Assist piling operations: Support piling operations by transporting materials, equipment, and personnel as needed.
4. Maintain site cleanliness: Keep the site clean and organized, ensuring a safe working environment.
5. Collaborate with team: Work closely with piling crew, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and safe piling operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Conduct pre-operational checks: Perform daily inspections and checks on JCB equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
2. Follow safety protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines, regulations, and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries during piling operations.
3. Maintain JCB equipment: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating JCB parts and reporting any defects or issues.
4. Document operations: Keep records of JCB operations, including any incidents or issues that arise during shifts.
