Job Description
Fairmont the Red Sea, located in the beautiful coastal city of Umluj, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dynamic and experienced In Room Dining Manager to join our luxury hospitality team. As the In Room Dining Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our in-room dining operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a dedicated team of professionals.
- Manage and optimize the daily operations of the in-room dining department
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of in-room dining staff to deliver exceptional service
- Develop and implement innovative menu concepts that align with guest preferences and hotel standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization
- Oversee inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in in-room dining services
- Handle guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall dining experience
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the hotel's overall success
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in in-room dining or restaurant management, preferably in luxury hospitality settings
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and current culinary trends
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
- Proficiency in hotel management software and point-of-sale systems
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Food safety certification
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards and expectations
- Adaptability to work in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
