Job Summary:
The HSE Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) training programs to ensure all project personnel are competent and aware of safety standards, procedures, and regulations in line with KSA requirements for Solar/PV projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE training plans based on project needs and safety requirements.
- Conduct inductions for all new site personnel and refresher sessions for existing staff.
- Deliver training on PTW, working at heights, electrical safety, lifting operations, fire safety, and emergency response.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and on-site observations.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure certifications are up to date.
- Support the HSE team in promoting a strong safety culture across the site.
- Assist in incident investigations by providing training-related insights and preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with client HSE requirements and local KSA safety legislation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of HSE training experience in Solar/PV construction projects.
- NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent HSE certification required.
- Strong knowledge of KSA safety laws and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to design engaging training materials and adapt sessions for diverse audiences.
