Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Coordinator to join our team!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Site Safety Monitoring and Support:
Conduct daily safety inspections and audits across civil, MEP, and airfield construction zones.
Monitor compliance with HSE policies, PPE usage, and safe work procedures.
Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents, and support immediate corrective actions.
HSE Documentation and Recordkeeping:
Maintain HSE records including inspection checklists, toolbox talks, incident reports, and daily observations.
Support the development and review of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Risk Assessments.
Assist in the preparation of HSE performance reports for internal and client use.
Training and Awareness:
Facilitate toolbox talks, safety briefings, and induction sessions for workers and visitors.
Promote awareness of project-specific risks (e.g., working near aircraft zones, heavy machinery).
Emergency Preparedness and Incident Response:
Support implementation of emergency procedures and drills.
Assist in investigating incidents and preparing root cause analyses and preventive measures.
Coordination and Communication:
Liaise with construction supervisors, subcontractors, and the HSE manager to align safety priorities.
Communicate safety alerts and project updates to field personnel.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of HSE experience in a construction or infrastructure environment.
Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge of local and international HSE regulations (OSHA, ISO 45001).
Familiarity with site safety audits, incident reporting, and emergency response protocols.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel) for reporting.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA 30, or equivalent.
Experience working in an airfield or aviation-related environment.
Ability to work across a multicultural workforce.
Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
